O.B. Phillips - President
O.B. Phillips has a lifetime of experience in real estate. O.B. started out in California in 1965. He began as an agent and over the next 42 years O.B. has owned many real estate related companies including a residential brokerage company with 100 plus agents, a commercial brokerage company with over 30 agents, an escrow company, a mortgage company, a construction company and a securities company. All this while maintaining a professional pilot's career with United Airlines for 37 years; retired in 2000.
He has experience in many areas including development and syndication. Additionally, he has had formal training in CCIM though is currently not a member.
Currently, O.B. works to mentor several agents in the office, manages the financial operation of five real estate related companies, is an active member in Rotary, and teaches a gentleman's bible school class at his home church. He has been married for over fourty-eight years and is a father of three and a very proud grandfather of four.
Benjamin Phillips - Director of Operations
Benjamin has worked in the Dallas apartment industry, in one level or another, since 1996. His career track has gone from an on-site maintenance porter, to maintenance supervisors assistant, to property manager, to regional supervisor, to Broker's Assistant, to investment consultant, and now his current positions. He is also a licensed real estate agent.
Benjamin's formal education is aviation. He's a commercially licensed pilot and has a bachelor of science degree in professional aviation with a minor in airport management from Louisiana Tech, Ruston, LA.
Currently, Benjamin works full-time at the Phillips Commercial corporate office consulting various real estate related companies and overseeing both Phillips Commercial and Philco Property Management. He has been married for six years and is a very proud father of one.
Derrick Caballero - Director of Sales, Senior Investment Consultant
Consistently a TOP PRODUCER, Derrick Caballero has been an associate on our multi-family brokerage team since April of 2001. A near life-long Texan, Derrick knows and follows the market and trends all across the state.
